JSON Parser
Validate, format and minify JSON, then explore its structure in a tree. Your JSON is processed in your browser without being sent to a server.
Page views are measured with access analytics. JSON input and results are excluded. Privacy policy
Enter JSON to analyze it in your browser.
Validation starts automatically when you stop typing. Format uses two-space indentation. Input is not automatically saved; copy anything you need before leaving the page.

- Paste JSON into the input area. Validation starts 300 ms after typing stops and waits while an input method is composing text.
- Expand objects and arrays to see their contents, types and item counts. Large collections show 100 entries at a time; use the additional entries button to continue.
- Choose Format or Minify to update the input, then Copy to copy it. If validation fails, check the indicated line and column; the input remains available for editing.
Supported JSON
Standard JSON objects, arrays, strings, numbers, booleans and null are supported. Comments, trailing commas and JavaScript expressions are not accepted. Formatting and minification preserve number notation, key order, duplicate keys and escape sequences. Duplicate keys remain visible and are reported as a warning.
Limits and data handling
Input is limited to 5 MiB in UTF-8, a nesting depth of 256 and 100,000 syntax nodes. Processing stops after 5 seconds, and formatted output is limited to 20 MiB. If a limit is reached, your input remains in place. JSON input and results are not stored in a URL, server log or browser storage.
